Craigielea Guest House
The Craigielea is a family owned 3 star Bed & Breakfast which is situated in the centre of Galashiels in the beautiful Scottish Borders. This Victorian house has been operating as a Guest House for over 13 years, and has 1 Double Room & 2 Twin Rooms, all with full en-suite facilities. There is also the added benefit of on road parking to the rear of the property. There are many things to see in Galashiels & surrounding areas including, Abbotsford House, once home to Sir Walter Scott, Old Gala House, (situated only a few minutes from us), The Border Abbeys, and much more. Galashiels is situated on the Southern Upland Way and is central for golf and fishing facilities in our area. There are golf courses in Galashiels, Selkirk, Melrose, Hawick, Ashkirk, St Boswells, Peebles, Lauder, Duns, The Woll, Kelso & Jedburgh. The River Tweed runs through most Borders Towns and permits can be arranged through The Border Angling Centre in Galashiels.
