Drive through Galashiels on the A7, passing Somerfield Supermarket and the bus station on the right, then the Pavilion cinema on the left.  Stay in the right hand lane of the one way system, and at the Town Hall (with large clocktower), bear right then turn first left into Saint John Street.  At the top of the street, turn left into Scott Crescent, then 2nd left into Elm Row.  Lawyers Brae leads off Elm Row and Craigielea is on the left.
